Driving meaningful work and getting our message out on X has been an uphill battle for a while. In the wake of the 2024 election, Elon Musk’s political alliance with President-elect Trump signals more corruption as corporate interests further insert themselves into public forums and our government. 

At MoveOn, we continue to strive to be a welcoming space, no matter the social media platform. We’ll be expanding those efforts to Bluesky, and we encourage you all to follow us there.

For this election cycle, MoveOn ran an ambitious program to persuade, mobilize, and turn out surge voters. 

While we lost the White House, we know that the work that we did played pivotal roles in the victories of key U.S. Senate races, U.S. House races, and abortion access ballot measures. As we look back on this election, we are taking stock of how to adjust our strategy to elect even more progressive leaders.
